It’s been quite a while since I posted my last blog.  We’re in the midst of a pandemic, life is really weird and challenging, everyone’s exhausted, and the seasons keep passing.

Yule will be here in a couple of weeks, and there’s snow on the ground.  I’m grateful that we actually had a full autumn, rather than winter setting in around Halloween.

I know that many are feeling enormously isolated, with face/face contact infrequent and accompanied by masks (at least for the people who give a shit about others).  With that in mind, I encourage fellow Pagans (and those of a spiritual persuasion) to get outdoors; go for a walk, note the winter sights and smells. If you’re lucky, like me, find some boughs and berries to make a wreath, listen to the sound of the wintering birds, notice the crunch of ice and snow, and just….take it all in.
